Licensing opportunity: Helioclin® Medical Device

The Helioclin^® cortisone-free product line is topically administered products for the treatment of seborrhoeic dermatitis, pruritus, moderate to severe scalp dandruff and atopic dermatitis.

The principal action of the Helioclin^® products is a restoring effect on the integrity of the skin barrier by physically  covering the stratum corneum, supporting the microenvironment of the diseased skin and retaining water and increasing skin hydration leading to correction of the underlying dysfunction of the disrupted skin.

The Helioclin^® products comply with the EU regulatory framework for medical devices according to the Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC, annex IX, third indent.

The HELIOCLIN® product line is covered by pending and granted formulation patents with expiry in 2023. The patents are granted in Europe and pending in other countries including the US.
